Facebook Debugger – That moment when you are trying to post something in a Facebook thread or on your wall and your thumbnail doesn’t automatically show up? Very very annoying, right? Well, I’m not sure why this is happening but I found a way to fix it! This debugger works wonders. You just need to paste your link, click debug and then click “scrape” where needed. Problem solved. You’re welcome! 😀
Blog post title generator– I know I’m not the only one having a brain freeze when it comes to picking a catchy title for a blog post I just wrote. This tool helps you brainstorm ideas and find attractive titles for your posts. Just type in a keyword and you get a ton of free ideas! You can try it here.
IZEA– This is the best place to go if you want to find collaborations or sponsored posts. All you need to do is create a profile and update your info, then start looking for jobs that match what you want and apply for them! Sometimes, companies will even contact you with offers. Check it out and find some opportunities.
Pinterest– okay this is kind of a no brainer but if you are a blogger and you’re not using Pinterest to boost and promote your blog traffic, then you are making a huge mistake! Since a few years ago, Pinterest has acquired 100 million users! Yep, you saw that right. So refer to those lovely ladies that I listed in point 1 for some Pinterst action tips! Tailwind – ahhh, ever since I started using Pinterest to promote my blog and saw how efficient it can be if used on a regular basis, I was in love. Very soon though I started hating it for how much time and energy it was draining my day of. That was until i found Tailwind. Now this one was love at first sight! Or love at first use to be more clear 😀
What is Tailwind? A tool that allows you to schedule your pins and re pin them automatically. It saves you time, increases the audience reach, measures your results by using analytics and has an amazing support team. I pay around $12 a month ($110 a year) and it’s worth every penny. I know how all beginner bloggers hate putting money in before they can take money out, but this one is so worth it. Use my referral link and get 15$ credit on your Tailwind account. That is another month of Tailwind right there to decide if you like it ( which you will!! ) Grab your free 1 month trial here.
Under Construction Plugin– Making major changes to your blog or need to fix things? You don’t want people to see your not so perfect page while doing so? This plugin is amazing because it gives you a totally customizable page that will show up for your readers while you do all the work. It’s easy to turn on/off just by pressing a button and even easier to install and handle. Search for it and let me know what you think!
Peek user testing– There’s always room for improvement when you are a blogger. Most often than not, people’s opinion is the most important and the one you should care about and take into consideration when changing, branding or selling on your blog. Peek offers you a free trial for your blog to be tested by a random user (payed by them).
You will get 5 minutes where the person goes on your blog and speaks their mind out loud, telling you their opinion from a reader point of view. This is extremely helpful if you just made changes to your blog or even just to go inside the mind of your readers. Go on their website to test your blog!
Similar Web – This is a site where you can check out the competition from your niche as well as find opportunities for guest posting. All you need to do is go on their website and type in your blog’s name. You will then find all the information you wouldn’t otherwise get about your blog, as well as similar blogs that you can connect with
MONEY MAKING SIDE HUSTLES
Ebates– Okay, I have to admit I was very skeptical about this kind of cash-back websites, but right now there is nothing more to say than: Go sign up!! Like, now! This website gives you a percentage of your money back when you do online shopping. It’s that simple. All you need to do is to go on their website, search for the shop you want to buy things from (Target for example) .
They will redirect you to Target website and the rest is the same as a regular online shopping trip. Ebates automatically calculates everything and you get your money in the mail in a check. I even go shopping in actual stores, see what I like, then go home and order it online so I can get cash back- muahah 😀 . I got around $30 until now and I haven’t been using it for that long. Get $10 in your Ebates account by using my link here.
Intellishop– I had to write this one down, even though I know a lot of people don’t like mistery shopping. I do! And this place gives me good opportunities as well as decent pay : $15/$20 per completed shop. All you need to do is read a given scenario, go apply it in a store then go home and fill up a questioner about your experience. You can sign up on their website and get approved after you fill up some questions about yourself
Bestmark– This is a different website for mystery shopping which I use in combination with intellishop to get more oportunities . The principle is the same and they pay you similar wages. Sign up on their website here.
Ibotta– An app that you install on your phone and gives you cash back for your groceries. Saves you quite a lot! I like using this one especially since we buy organic food which is pricier. I feel like it evens out our expenses with food. If you want to get an extra $10 when you sign up, use my code: htablwr .
Usertesting – Yes, this is the same user testing site I mentioned above, except you can apply to be a user tester yourself and earn $10 for each test you perform. Your job is to look at people’s websites or blogs and think out loud while performing specific tasks. Sign up to be a tester on their website.
A few other user testing websites where you can earn extra cash for this job are:
Shopkick– This is a similar app to Ibotta where you get kicks that transfer into money when you walk inside stores, scan products or upload your receipts. It’s a very easy way to earn extra money without doing much. It can add up pretty nicely, especially if you go shopping or go look around in shops a lot. Get an account here and start kicking !
